Watch your Back

It is amazing to note just how many people have back problems and pain can often be triggered by the smallest of things meaning that we can be in severe agony for weeks on end. Some people can pinpoint the day their back problems started, maybe in a fall or a work accident which led to a No Win No Fee case, but for others it was a more gradual onset.

Either way, back pain can be debilitating. Sometimes it is subtle but nagging pain which you can live with but which is always there, always reminding you of the pain and which can be very depressing.

At the other end of the scale there is the severe shooting pain, such as sciatica, which can leave you hardly able to move and which can mean weeks in bed. There are some very good and very strong painkillers on the market now, but you have to be careful not to take these too often as they can get addictive.

There are also many things on the market which are marketed to alleviate back pain such as small cushions which you tie to your chair so that you are always sitting in the right position.

Many people also find that it does help them if they keep overall fit and healthy, although you do have to be careful when exercising when you are in the middle of a bout.
